On the darkest days

On the darkest days this fire burns within
As pain arises I continue to fight
As I break I continue to forgive myself

On days of uncertainty I remain present

As I feel unworthy I remind myself I am thriving
On the days of temptation self study is essential

On the days when I’m lonely I know I have support
As these days are the hardest

On the darkest days my mind is like a pinball
These days I must remind myself to sit in silence

 

As I remember that everything is temporary
Knowing that the fire within will keep me strong and never go out
