First thing to know is that it is Impossible to be happy all the time. Thing’s such as death, sickness, relationship problems, etc are all real. Once we learn to accept it becomes easier to cope with them.
Second is to known that happiness comes from within. You are your not thoughts, You are not your wealth or your belongings. Yes these may help cover up your unhappiness in the moment, However if you are unhappy with who you truly are, none of these things will helpl
I recommend limiting what you want and being thankful for what you have. As the Buddha teaches us the root of suffering is attachment.
SELf Talk 101
How we talk about ourselves while being conscious get’s programed into our subconscious mind.
What this means is every time you use terms such as
I am broken
I can’t
I’m a loser
Your telling your subconscious that you are those thing’s. Use positive self talk.
Every problem is a challenge
Your not a loser, you had a setback
Nothing is impossible, thing’s are difficult.
Understand where I’m going with this?
Understanding the brain chemials that provide happiness and how to hack them! Below will provide some techniques.
Are you happy with yourself? Ask yourself these 3 Question?
Do you enjoy spending time with yourself?
Do you care what other’s think about you?
Do you choose to be happy?
If you answered yes to one or all these questions I suggest meditating on them. It’ll open your awareness to the why? The second suggestion I have is to Write them down and answer the why not?
Both these methods will lead you to the how to. It’s your responsibility to take action
