Fear is a illusion, it was given to us to protect us from ourselves. However fear can often hold us back from living our lives.
What is fear exactly?
“Fear is a unpleasant emotion by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.
People fear all different kinds of thing’s. Sometimes they aren’t justified. We already know that fear is a belief, which means if you have certain fear it’s because someone or something put in your subconscious.
Obviously fear is not always a bad thing. It’s okay to have a certain phobia or fear as long as the fear is not destroying your daily life or holding you back. If that is the case then you might want to overcome it.
HOW TO OVERCOME FEAR!
Step 1. Recognize why you might have the fear? Did something happen in the past or maybe someone told you couldn’t do it.
Step 2. Create a fear project
The only way to overcome fear is to face head on. By creating a Fear Project Here’s a example. My fear is being on camera and messing up. I always get nervous and anxious.
My goal is to start my own YouTube channel, so I thought of smaller ways so I can how can build up to that. I started with little 15 seconds video clips on Instagram. Believe me the first few were really hard but more I do the better I get.
The second way I decided to overcome my fear is by doing my group meditation’s online. Again the first one I mess especially leading into it. However with every one I I give the more natural it feels. I have also been on a podcast which is another thing that helped me.
I am still not ready for my YouTube channel but I’m slowly getting there.
