I hear it all the time, I don’t have time meditate! I know I should meditate but I’m to busy. However did you know you can meditate while doing every day activities. You don’t have to sit for hours to meditate. Here are some my favorite ways to meditate while doing everyday activities.
Meditation while Showering - Bring your focus to the water as it flow’s down your body. How does it feel against your skin? Appreciate the smell of the soap as you rub it against your skin. It’s truly amazing.
Meditation while doing the dishes - Unlike most people I love doing the dishes. It’s one my favorite ways to zen out. Focusing on the hot and the smell of the dish soap. Giving your full attention to every dish. I have no reason for a dishwasher.
Sports - Sports are a great way for us to meditate since they require your full attention to be great. A sport like chess, boxing or skateboarding are especially good since they don’t have much down time. I know when I took my kickboxing class I was always 100% focused
There are hundreds of ways you incorporate meditation Into your life. As long as if you are not lost into your own mind, if you are fully focused on the task at hand you are meditating. You have to find what works best for you.
