The body scan meditation is one of my favorite meditations to give to myself, especially when i’m experiencing any kind of physical or emotional pain. Here’s how it’s done.
Start by taking a few deep breath’s in though the nose and out though the mouth to become completely present. Once you fine your breath slowly being to scan your body.
I always start with from the ground up. Start with your feet and bring your full attention to each part of your body, Notice if there is any tension or stress you need to let go before moving onto the next part of your body. Do this until you have reached the crown of your head. Once your have scanned your whole body take a few extra moments to sit in pure relaxation.
